HOW TO ORGANIZE A FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN
These easy steps are the basics to a smooth-running and successful fund-raising activity. And remember: there's always a Lamontagne representative near you, willing to help!
WHY ARE YOU RAISING MONEY?
From the start, focus on the reason for your fund-raising campaign. New equipment for the schoolyard? Class trip?
COMMUNICATE YOUR CAUSE!
If you can convince your participants that it is a worthwhile cause, your campaign will attract stronger participation.
Spare no efforts to show how the money raised will be spent, for instance, show pictures of the new playground equipment you will buy.
SET INDIVIDUAL GOALS!
Make the goal attainable by setting individual ones: "We will reach our goal if everyone sells just one box".
SET A SHORT TIME-LINE!
Set specific start and end dates for your campaign. Then, remind participants on a regular basis. Enthusiasm will decrease over time, so the shorter the better.
MAKE IT FUN!
Ask your Lamontagne representative about a custom prize program. Hold a fun activity: challenge the principal to ride a tricycle around the playground if you reach your goal…
Finally, remember to say THANK YOU to volunteers and participants. A letter thanking everyone will be greatly appreciated, especially if you announce the profits raised.
